I have always struggled with self image, always finding the flaw in my photo. Madelyn took the time to get to know the ins and outs of my character. She made me feel like I was so much more than a project for her to focus on. In my collaboration with her, I felt like I was talking to a friend of many years, a few experiences wiser. She made sure I was comfortable with her before capturing my photos. During the shoot, I felt that I could simply be myself, and the pictures show it. I felt so carefree, so incredibly genuine. (we even stopped for a coffee break!) I know that you'd love to be a teacher, and I truly believe you will transcend in anything you put your mind to. I am thankful to you Madelyn - you made me feel so beautiful, so confident - it's a feeling I don't plan on shaking. When I first reached out to Madelyn about what I wanted to do for my husband's birthday, and create memorable unique family photos -- she seemed invested from the beginning and I hadn't even hired her yet.
